My Point Of View Part 2

The epic must be finished...

so all was going
as it usually does
and he still didn't
like me "Just Because."

Taylor, him and
this Tyler kid
became friends and
did what normal friends did.

she started to ditch
Amber and me
we were so confused
"How could this be?"

Amber had predicted
this in 6th grade
that she'd leave,
and have it made.

she said she had
a list of friends
and she never crosses any off,
so none of her friendships ever ends.

that was true
for a while,
but i didn't want to see it
because i was in denial.

Taylor, Kaleb, and Tyler
had fun and laughed a lot
but one sunny day
Taylor and Kaleb got caught.

"Just Friends"
my ass.
they would sit and stare
at each other in class.

i was surprised i was
OK with it
and i was surprised i
put up with their shit.

Amber was outraged,
i was in a trance
they finally told Amber
at a dance.

she freaked out
as we thought she would
i tried to be as
supportive as i could.

its all gone to hell
as of now
but seriously
i don't know how.

after the initial shock
things were OK
but things have changed
since that day.

Taylor just kinda stopped
being friends with me
why? i just
cant see.

now she doesn't
ever call
when i do, she's with
them, at the mall.

she doesn't need me
because she has him
he tends to her
every whim.

since then, Amber
has drifted away
my list of friends has
dwindled I must say.

So I need a
new best friend,
because all my friendships
are coming to an e n d . . .
