Laughter

by Mangrove Blossom   Jul 14, 2006

An adult once asked me what was most important to me in the world-
I choose laughter.
I could have chosen friends, family, teachers that cared, my brown dog stuffed animal...
But then I got to thinking...
What do all of those things give to me?
It was laughter.

It is laughter that brings me up from the depths of despair-
That brightens my morning and into the dark of night-
That shows me how to love and enjoy life-
That teaches me appreciation for my world-
That gives me drive and inspiration to work for what I need- want- in life-

Thats why, when you come into contact with anything or anyone that makes you laugh, don't ever let go!

For laughter is the soul of our lives.
It is the sparkle and glamor.
The Beating of your heart in a single laugh.
Without the heart, you die.

Think about it? what is most important to you in life? Now look deeper... there is laughter in the soul of it.

This poem is dedicated to someone that made me figure out the importance of laughter in a time i needed it most. He made me think and well THANK YOU.
