Save it

by Nil   Jul 14, 2006

A tarnished innocence once was mine
And there was love and kindness in my eyes
Now there is fear, anger and hate
coursing through my body
are veins full of rage

This other girl, we are the same
She is like me, in so many ways
But does she hate looking in the mirror
And when she sees her reflection do her eyes start to tear?

Can she stand the sun outside
Revealing every inch of skin?
Is she ashamed of her body
Because of self inflicted sin?

No she isn't, unlike you and me
You said she reminds you of someone
Someone you used to love
i guess the one you loved didn't mean enough?

Because you threw ME out
You are the reason I'm so angry
You claim you still love me
I can see through the lie

So don't waste your breath on me
Because I'm not breathing
Nor will I be listening..
So save it for her..

**I'm** ... writer's block
