Slowly Slipping

From the emptiness in her eyes
I can feel the hurt in her heart
something has destroyed her
tore her world all apart

For her theres no escape
from this such familiar pain
loving him was never worth it
shes gained nothing but shame

Walls of darkness closing in
is all she's left to know
when this beast is done with her
there'll be nothing left to show

Looking now in this mirror
I see a strangers face
shes slowly slipping far away
pain will take her at its pace
