Just a Face

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Jul 17, 2006

You couldn't pick her out in a crowd,
She didn't stand tall and she didn't stand proud,
She didn't walk with her head up high,
Except to smile at that guy

I asked her if she wanted to hang out,
She didn't know what this was about,
I probably made her day,
But this wasn't a time to play

She came over and we had fun,
But happily, my work was done,
She was as gorgeous as could be,
And it was all because of me

She walked into school with her head up high,
But this time, she talked to that guy,
He asked her out, they're together now,
She gets her date and takes a bow

She's the prettiest girl in school,
Now she's popular and cool,
We're still friends to this day,
In the best kind of way
