100

by enfant du tordu chagrin   Jul 17, 2006

Thank god I've reached one hundred, finally it's done
I've got the silver medal, well people, it's been fun
I think that I'll retire, lay my pen to rest
Oh wait, dang it, I can't, I'm not yet the best

One hundred poems in my belt, god my hand is cramped
I think that now it's done, my pen will be camped
Rested by my bedside, for a while at least
(Yeah you know I'm lying, it'll get no peace)

As I sit and write this, I realize it's quite sad
I think the fact I'm doing this, may prove that I'm mad
Oh well I'm used to it, with Insanity I'm at peace
But i really think its the right time for this poem to cease
