The Birthday Present i could never have

Thinking and planning for my birthday ahead
wanting the one thing i could never have
something not even money can buy
dreaming on my special day,
you'd show up at my front door
but when i go to bed at nigh
and know it just isn't possible
i'll cry until my eyes turn red
close my eyes and dream of ou
and how it could, should, would be
I'm sure tears will be running
down my face
while im thinking about
the birthday present i could never have.
