Life

by hayley   Jul 18, 2006

Thinking the world is easy is wrong,
unless you want an easy one.
Witnessing pain makes you realise,
everything what you've got.
Those who never know the price of happiness,
will never be happy.
Those who witness the passing of time,
will be those who value time.
Those who respect their life,
will be those who are respected,
those who experience difficulty,
will be the ones who value success.

The world knows what i mean,
when they experience this.

Sorrow happens, hardship happens,
wallowing in self pity,
to hell with it.
Don't be scared, do it now,
after all i cannot forgive myself,
in what i forgave.

I liked the start of this poem, but as it got to the end, It started to feel rocky. Keep it up though.

That is a really good lesson in life. We will never know what true happiness is until we find out what true depression is. We could never know good if we didn't know evil. We need to know both sides of everything before we can know one. Well, that's the thought that came into my head when reading this poem. Good stuff.
