Long Road

by LoversLoss   Jul 18, 2006

What a long road it's been
Talking, laughing, and crying
Knowing you love me and that I love you too
We have both been led astray
But we forgive each other each and every day

We were meant for each other
No one else can have us one or the other
We care, we love, we hold each other
When were upset or hurt

The days go by watching...waiting.....
Hoping we would wake up the next day
Finding each other lying next to one or the other
But Alas we count the days
Watching.....waiting.....for time to go by

To see each other the very next day
But we have a long road ahead
With many bumps and many bruises
That we both must attend to
Each and every day......
Soon it will be our day

But alas the long road ahead
counting...waiting........

Awww........ that was a sweet poem. And you expressed yourself very well. Indeed the road is long and sometimes it just seems too long but eventually everybody else makes it. Well great poem. Keep it up! ^_^

Relationships take work whether its long distance or not you just cant keep things unresolved or they pile up. But in the end its worth it if its meant to be and I can tell you really love this girl=)
