My man turns to stone

by Truly in Love   Jul 19, 2006

Distance calls you near
While I secretly burn in fear
What I want to see, turns invisible to my eyes
And slowly, you begin to ignore my cries

My soul melts away in this pain
then, ashes of my love are found in tearless stains
For you, I had let my eyes burn with fire
While I shed my beauty, there is nothing left for you to admire

Distance made my man stone
Our love faded away, and my heart was thrown
He lived in his own mind, while I waited
Soon I realized that love and hate are both related

Teach me the art of breaking one's heart
Close your eyes, the darkness of love is about to start
One by one, all the candles are blown away
And the imperfection of our desires are here to stay...

Best things in life comes only when you have the patience to wait for it...But often waiting for the best thing,we lose so many better things in life...I understand ur words..the feelings hidden behind those words...I dont understand why life teaches us things the hard way....Either we must be stupid or the life itself must be stupid....
