Contemplation (Paper and Pen)

*This question just struck me one day-

What is a paper? And what is a pen?
Well, I say, they're lifetime partners
in my mind's finger-hand garden.
They grow like flowers as my heart beats.
They talk on my pillow, under the bed sheets.
They yell the actual content of my mind,
whisper the very truth, though seldom unkind.
They leave you visualizing actions in your thoughts,
while verbalizing the words- apparently, you bought.
Nothing to worry because they're honest and true-
they won't publish anything unless they counsel with you.
Now, don't get me wrong, but they're not my slaves-
they're underlings of my inner being, in the depths of the cave.
You see, they're explorers of what I've experienced and have done.
They do it together, and together, as one...
Pretty much, they're lovers preferring to do things together,
because surely one cannot do anything, nor live, without the other.
Well, they know and take part in my expressions,
hum and sing the sensitivity of my emotions...
Most of the time, they're substitutes of my secret and personality-
because they stand-in proxy- to cover and speak for me.
They do that all the time so I consider them as my friends-
And as long as I live, that friendship's never gonna end...
As friends, they give a hand to carry you through...
They help me a lot when communicating with you...
So much for these thorough descriptions-
just to keep the gist from you...
When all I wanted to say was-
I envy the paper, and the pen because they do everything together,
without even minding everybody around!
I wish, we could just be that way!
Be honest with me, and just express what you wanna say!
Don't mind everything or everyone else...
Think about- there's only you and me in the scene-
and nobody else is gonna bother us
Don't stop yourself!
You're free to say anything...
So, if you love me...
