My Torchure

by April G   Jul 23, 2006

Hello my shadow.
My relentless sea,
why mus you hurt me?
Why must it be me?

Do you scorn me as if a dream,
Or do you scorn me with this reality?
Can you spare one night, one day, one second of time,
just to redeem this soul of mine?

I wish that this pain, this agony, would just set me free,
that everything would just let me be.
As i stand here in desire, you torchure me.
Torchure me as i yearn to forget, to forget about me.

I alone stand here,
I alone... dissapear

This is a solid poem, you may want to go back and do some spell checking and such though. Other than the misspelled words though there isn't much that needs improvement :) it had good flow, strong wording and good imagery. nice job
