A Night To Be Remembered

by Phantasmagoria   Jul 23, 2006

Every night she lies there
every night she cries
hiding herself without care
she wishes she'd just die.

But when the mourning comes, there is no sorrow.
Just her for the world to see.
Sane for tomorrow.
That's how she has to be.

Tomorrow, she won't have to see.
She's ending her life tonight.
Running from childhood tears.
Running to the light.

For there was nothing for her here.
In fear of life,
her hope has disappeared,
dragged away by the knife.

Every night she lied there.
Every night she cried.
Now everyone remembers her
because of the night she died.
