Tragic Love

by Dana   Jul 24, 2006

In the midst of the enclosure
mist covers the ground,
tombstones, gates, death.
This is where two lovers are found.
Their skin pale as white,
Their touch cold as ice.
to renown their love,
they had to pay the ultimate price.

A story of Romeo and Juliet:
two lovers take their life,
escaping the shackles of forbidden love,
with one jerk of a knife.

Their souls were left to roam,
going through everything.
A transparent blur,
unable to finger a ring.
They stay lurking in the dark,
awaiting two worthy conscious entities,
in which they will embody.
Creating a feeling of identity.

But until that day comes,
their love will be tortured.
They will always rest anxiously,
as the torpid lover's of the marble orchard.
