Crippling Devil's Music

by Dana   Jul 24, 2006

Walking down a crippled road,
he encounters a fiendish being,
offering salvation with a guitar.
Without a doubt agreeing,
he falls short of scrutiny.
Each note he played,
creates a larger portal.
making evil capable to invade.

A strong sense of vanity taking over,
immorally swoon within.
Betraying himself and his beloved,
the devils twin.

He prays for deliverance,
returning to the old route.
smashing the corrupt instrument,
the termination of this brute.
Unable to avoid his past,
the watts and watts of subliminal starkness,
the crude electricity that went through him.
He's swallowed by the six stringed darkness.

A unique work.. i like the depthness of the poem. And with your chosen words you had portrayed a dark poem with vivid emotions, and successfully maintain those 'til the last line... great job!
