If only I could

by the pale queen of the silent night   Jul 25, 2006

Your sorrow is my death
Every tear you shed is
a piece of my heart.

Your joy is my wish
Your trouble, are my grieves

Oh, dear one
so far you are
from your loved ones

A lonesome man and broken heart
you have been
with a trouble mind
oh how I plead
day and night
to the mighty God
to bring some sunshine into your life
shower you with love and tenderness
give you strength, knowledge and wisdom

I fear for you dear one
I fear for you grievous heart
for your shattered dream
for your unshed tears

I would give my life to bring
a smile upon your lips
I would cross to the other side of the world
only to take away your grievous

I would reach and take your cold hand in mine
and guide you, and help you through
every step of dear life.

If I only could
I would break every rule
every law
to only see you smile
I would cross the limits to the extremest
to only be with you
If only I could.

but don't cry, don't grieve
don't fear, some day, some how
you will be happy, you will
smile, you will laugh.
and you will love.
like a summer flower you will thrive with joy and love
