Her life

by Suchapoetictradgedy   Jul 25, 2006

Paper-thin dreams line her anticipating
Body with a thin layer of cushion,
From all the pain those emerald eyes
Have seen and endured all of these years.

Paper-thin goodbyes,
Dreaming of butterflies, and unicorns
Shes alone now, alone with fears.
While she screams and pleads with god.

Only wishing to be taken away,
From the fragile lies she tells all to well!
This gasoline horizon the only promising
End in her small story; her life.

Most kids sit in a classroom learning
Nouns, and fractions. Not her, she
Leans against the side of a building,
And wonders why the sickness took her mom.

She doesn't know the word for this disease!
Nor the name for this feeling, but she has seen
The repercussions of it her whole existence.
Falling even deeper into the family heirloom; Depression!

Not too bad.. A bit choppy, but it's a good story told.
