No Longer

by Pain Remains   Jul 25, 2006

No one understand the intensity of the pain,
The constant stabbing, tearing, destruction,
Of what was once a heart,

No one seems to realize that life doesn't get any better,
You become cold, bitter and jealous,
Of those who are happy,

People no longer see you screaming inside,
Your heart is like broken shards of glass,
That slowly kill you with every slice,

People no longer listen to your silent cries,
Your desperation to be saved,
Your faith dead,

They no longer care what you've been through,
What you're going through,
What you have to face,

They no longer remember who you've lost,
Why you are like you are,
Your life a mess,

They no longer remember,
But you do,
For what you lost that day,
Killed you too.

WOW. I swear its like I wrote this too. Its so true. I dont know if you really lost someone but you sure captured how I feel sometimes. If you read "Missing Person" it ends very similar to this one. Good job
