The Truth

by Jamin Huchingson   Jul 25, 2006

My walls have been breeched
Because of your deceit
My foundation cracked
And crumbled at your feet

Stunned by the words you speak
How could you be so cold
Following you as I was strung along
Every instant controlled while I was in your hold

The truth is all you withhold
And tell nothing but lies
How does it feel
To know you made someone die inside

The pieces of my heart still reside
In the cove where you revealed
The truth of your wicked ways
How do you live with all this concealed

I move on even though I'm far from healed
Leaving the pieces of what was before
Moving on slowly towards a new dawn
Hoping there is just some much more in store
