knowing inside this isn't me

praying inside to be let go

laughing at all the jokes

shaking off all sad words said
secretly locking them inside my head

telling stories that aren't even true
knowing inside this isn't you

going along with everyone else
wanting to go back for help

taking the dares given to you
knowing inside that they will never be you
