Leave Here

by al taylor   Jul 26, 2006

Leave here only your signed confession,
Sit there only with your vacant expression,
Hide behind your well timed depression,
Dont forget to fake your smile,
Leave me lifeless for a while,
Nothing like a first impression,
To destroy any wanted discretion.
Thinking of a plea on this long awaited trial.

Leave here only the truth I need,
Attempt to slit your wrists and pretend to bleed,
Act as if youre feeling guilty for this deed,
Scream at me one last empty threat,
Pay me in tears for your dept,
Bubbling over in your greed,
Thats one last thing that we agreed,
That you would at least pretend to be upset.

Leave here only what isnt fake,
Including the pills you forgot to take
And all the hearts you tried to break,
Tell me what you want me to say,
I am Sorry if this sounds to cliche,
But think of all the things that are at stake,
Just for making that one mistake,
You could lose everything today.
