It was only a matter of time
before you drifted away.
I don't even know why
I'm thinking of you today.

Around my waist was your arm,
and on your shoulder lay my head.
My heart is busted now
because you chose her instead.

With you, I was happy,
I felt on top of the world.
But now I'm dishearted
that you love another girl.

Our hearts beat as one,
whether you felt it or not.
The memories I hold close,
I hope you never forgot.

You were on my mind
as I awoke at dawn.
I loved you so much
but now, you're gone.

    Thanks for the comments. Kesha, it did happen but what's weird is that he was never my boyfriend. But I loved him so much and had a huge crush. I thought he liked me back but he apparently loves someone else. It hurt really bad, almost as if we were a couple. But thanks, I appreciate comments. : ]

    Your poem makes me think about what happen to me. I hope this didn't happen to you. And if it did I am sorry. Iknow how bad it hurts. but I loved it and it almost made me cry..
