If only

by Krazy   Jul 26, 2006

She can hear the waves crashing
as she sits and crunches sand between her toes.
She can taste the salty air,
as the cool ocean breeze caresses her soft delicate skin.
she watches little kids play in the water.
splashing. giggling.
she wished she was their age again
no worries, their only fear was getting eaten by the sea
but assurance came from all your friends
as all of you screamed and jumped in.
if only she was that age again.
