Twinkle Toes

you wink at me
i crinkle my nose
shivers pass through my knees
clear down to my toes

your smile grabs my mouth
shining brighter then my orange ruby skirt
I'm joyous all the way down south
as my exuberant colors start to flirt

your laugh reaches my ears
i find a giggle rising
I've found you after so many years
uncontrollable it bubbles out, to you surprising

you touch my cheek so delicately
my heart flutters so violently
all felt so completely
everything tumbling down to meet me

i love you from head to toe
every last quirk you show
and i want you to know
i even love your twinkle toes.
