Forgotten Dreams

I woke up today thinking of you
Wondering if my dreams will ever come true
Seeing you with her is to much to bear
They say time will dry each tear
But everyday without you in my life
Leaves me struggling to find a way to survive
You showed me how to love
My heaven sent present, my angel from above
You left me waiting for you like heroes do in love scenes
With a broken heart and forgotten dreams
All your love had promised is now gone
My only fear now is waking up alone
You're happy with someone else
How could I ever let love take me to such a place
To love enough that it hurts to share you
With anyone else after all we've been through
You left me with the vows you couldn't keep
All I have left is a box full of forgotten dreams

    I think it was a great powm, but I would have changed the last line to "a box full of empty dreams" cause you will not forget them, but the dreams are now empty, hollow, shattered by him. g/j
