Lifeless drops of water

by Kayleigh Porter   Jul 27, 2006

Lifeless drops of water
Escaping from the sky;
They're falling just because of you,
Because you had to die.

And when I see these raindrops
I remember all you were
But as they crash into the ground
They all become a blur.

So if I could catch each drop
I'd place them in a jar,
Then all my thoughts of you
Would never be too far.

But the raindrops are too many
And they fall not just for you,
'Cause everybody has to die,
And other families feel this too.
