All This Pain

by Truest Lies   Jul 29, 2006

They stuck needles in my eyes,
They do not care,
They do not have any
Mercy to spare.
They stuck tubes in my veins,
And pumped me with ice,
They do not care,
They do not hear my screams.
I didn't cry,
Not once,
Not a tear,
Even when they branded me,
With fire-covered fear.
They stuck needles in my eyes,
And my eyelids did not shut,
I screamed a loud,
I shouted a lot.
I called them names,
It's all the same,
I begged them for mercy,
They do not care.
They finished and left,
They are no longer here.
They stuck tubes in my veins,
And pumped me with ice,
I remember as they pondered what to do to me next,
As they rolled the dice.
It landed on six,
And they rolled it again,
It landed on four,
I want this pain no more.
They left the needles in,
And I cannot take them out,
They were already gone,
They did not hear my shout.
I took a knife,
To my own veins,
And from them drank,
The frothing ice.
I felt numb,
And was at peace.
I floated, it seemed,
So far away,
I do not care,
What you say...
For they stuck needles in my eyes,
They want me to die.
I stood outside,
In the pouring rain,
I only want an end,
To all this pain.
