The 'killer'

by Gilligan   Jul 30, 2006

A strange smell across the lounge room,
Makes the air stale,
And everyone around looks pale,
"Who Did That?" A person screams,
everyone looks around,
But the smell didn't come from a sound,
"Look down there!" Someone cries,
Everyone looks to their surprise,
A body lay on the basement floor,
In A pool of blood the body lies still,
Everyone scared,
Then a sudden chill.
"The Killer must be here!" An onlooker dictates,
"For there is someone's fate,"
The house is filled with silence,
The police arrive to the crime scene,
To then define a murder into a suicide,
"The victim was found with his fingerprints on the knife," stated the constable.
"A murder it is not,"
The fear of a killer was false,
Because the 'Killer' had killed himself.
