A storm is brewing,
My hell is on its way,
But for you Nan peace is coming,
From now on heaven is where you'll stay,

You'll be flying up to heaven,
With your wings of gold,
They will open up the pearly gates,
For god has called you home,

You can be back with granddad,
Who you love more than life,
You will no longer have anymore pain,
You will no longer have to fight,

I don't want you to go nan,
I love you more than I can say,
But I don't want you to sacrifice heaven,
So in pain with me you can stay,

Your life will gently slip away,
Hopefully in your sleep,
You don't have to hold on anymore,
All your pain will cease,

I don't know how to go on without you,
I don't know how to cope,
Because it's always been you I've turned to,
When I started to lose hope,

We've been through so much together,
Times both good and bad,
You helped me get through my dad's death,
You helped me fight through hell,

We've had so many laughs together,
We've joked and teased each other too,
But without you here who do I joke with,
I haven't got a clue,

I can't cure your illness nan,
There's nothing I can do,
There's nothing I can say to change it nan,
If only it wasn't true,
