The Cycle

The Cycle

Found and lost again,
Locked in a cage,
Never to be seen again,
Taken back to a timeless age.

What was seen is now no more,
What was heard is now lost,
Soon we shall settle the score,
We will prevail at any cost.

Opening the eyes of the blind,
Making the deaf hear,
People are scared of my kind,
Soon they shall lose that fear.

What people don't understand,
Is the power in a single word,
Know this is our last stand,
All our hopes on the wings of a bird.

I know you'll choose to run and hide,
You'll die before you get to begin,
You should have embraced the magic you had inside,
So from the beginning we'll begin again.

"So from the beginning we'll begin again". I absolutely have no words to describe this poem. Except to say wicked. 5/5
