Night Drive

by Nengirl   Jul 30, 2006

Clinging onto your seat cushions,

stained from the past,

I'm not the only girl that has left her scent in your car,

but hopefully you remember mine,

The fog on your windows caused from our stupid/nervous laughter,

Music blaring but all i hear is your singing.

And everything that i feel is confusing,

didn't see myself in your passenger seat,

watching me through stacks of canned goods,

smiling when i saw you with your jewel collar popped,

late night talks is our expertise,

waiting for the sunrise before we say goodnight,

and even through the sound of your voice,

i can see your smile and feel your touch,

so please just put it in drive,

I know I'm already 20 minutes late,

but mom can deal,

cause I'm not going home tonight.
