Quiet

Every time I say something,
I hurt somebody's feelings.
Every time I try to say something right,
they take it the wrong way.
I try to say nice things,
but no one seems to want to listen,
because I have hurt them before,
with things I have said.
Maybe I should just learn,
to keep my mouth shut.
Because, every time I say something,
it seems to hurt someone.
Maybe I should just be quiet.
