Misery

by Candice   Jul 31, 2006

Misery creeps up on me
Like its been waiting behind me
For the day it knew it could come back
A tear rolls down for the returning
She knows what pain it cast upon her
The marks make her remember
There those forced little burdens
She knows she will have to walk with them
Until the day she dies
For now all she can do is wait
For the worst of what misery can bring
Just like she waits for her life to pass

    Candice --
I had to give this poem a 4/5. The flow really didn`t work out too well ;; it seemed really forced. I also didn`t like how you ended two lines with the word 'me'. It kind of changes the whole scheme a bit, if you ask me. The spelling and grammar were good, though. Not bad, 4/5. Keep it up!
