One rainy night

by ãêx   Jul 31, 2006

As she walks down the hallway
She can hear them
All of them
Calling her things that make her cry
They don\'t know
Because they\'re narcissistic
She doesn\'t understand
Why its her they pick on
Those cuts on her arms
Are from every little thing they said
If only she could keep track
116 she thinks it was
Those arms will never heal
Neither will the wounds in her mind
But there is one person
A boy who befriended her
Who showed her that people can care
She thought it was love
She was finally happy
Until...
The rainy night whenever she had to stay at his house
There was no way she could walk home
They layed togethor on the bed
Talking
Kissing
Groping each other
She heard his zipper unzip
Then hers
She cried out
Screamed NO
But he could not hear
His inner demons had taken over
She felt the pain
She tried to fight back
She knew then he was to strong
So she layed there
Crying
Then it was over
He whispered \"I love you\"
She cryed even more
She did not speak the next day
School was over
She ran as fast as she could to her house
No one home
Went into the hallway closet
She knew it was there
The gun
The gun she was told to never touch
And now she had
She was standing there deciding what to do
Everyone at school didn\'t notice she was there
Until the speaker came on
The news fell hard
Everyone cried
Every one of those people who drove her halfway to it
They then realized
That maybe
Just maybe
If they had befriended her and been nice to her
That she would still be here
But shes gone
And never coming back
And those people would have to live with that

This is either a really long poem, or a really short story

P.S. Treat people as the way you want to be treated. Never make anyone feel like they don\'t matter.
Or this story could happen to someone you know.
