Angel

by Cj Barritt   Jul 31, 2006

You will never tell
But I know
You must have wings
Tucked underneath your sleeves
And a halo in your back pocket
For you are at times angelic
Quiet
Lonely
Confused
Without a cloud of your own.
You try to hide your true self
Behind a mask
Of humor
Of anger
Of pain;
But I know your secret
And its safe with me
For you are and angel
Lost in the world of maturity
