The words came pouring out
the confessions, declarations
that you loved me
the words came spilling out
silence following those words
words that can't mean anything
infatuating a foolish love
confusion and pain waiting
while you tried to hurt me
and I answer back
lying and declaring
spilling out words that break hearts
and don't mean anything
to me.
