Five Eleven (as in May 11th)

That night I saw you
Playing your guitar
You looked so amazing
As I watched you play from afar

And as you were playing
You looked up at me
I glanced away
Flushed, I smiled dearly

You were wearing all black
Me, watching, pretending to be laid-back
Truth be told, I was extremely nervous
But that look of yours was totally priceless

And as we come to the end of the night
The kids no longer roam
People start to head home,
Its getting late on this school-night

I see you put the large speakers away
Until another day
My mom and I head out, and get in the car
Suddenly I see you, a glimpse from afar

You walk in front of my car
An' look my way
I look up, smile, and do a little wave
Oh, you, I crave

That night was something special
Something, I won't forget
All the memories that were born tonight
Will dance around in my head

^This was about my school's art show
