Taken Away

Struck to the ground another tear falls, How can we keep the peace inside these walls.
He yells and screams at her hurting her ears, What happens in that house doesn't even amount to her worst fears.
She trys to give him her very best, Doesn't know how much more she can take while her heart pounds through her chest.
Feeling like nothing can save her from this nightmare, Feeling like no one in this home doesn't care.
No one needs to go through the pain she has faced, Remembering the memories of her not letting them be erased.
What we all saw happen to her scared us for life, Having to watch her throw it all away with a knife.
She had nothing to gain and nothing to live for, We'll always be here thinking about you while your here no more.
