Lonely hearts

The lonely hearts of the unloved
Do they finally turn to stone?
Do they break due to the pain
Or can they stay strong and still maintain?
If someone warms them, will they melt?
Or will they freeze the other heart as well?
Can they be saved if they still feel
That even a callous heart can heal?
Or do their lonesome hearts just die,
Leaving an unfilled space inside,
Leaving the unloved empty souls,
Who can never feel complete and whole...
