Was it a Dream?

A wonderful sound of silence
Danced across my room
Everyone is sleeping
With only the light from the moon

I lay there thinking silently
My cat sleeping by my head
Closed my eyes then opened them
Seeing someone standing by my bed
They stood there starring at me
With eyes so wide and white
I just sat there starring back
At an image that was so bright

My heart beating so fast
Im too afraid to scream
Closed my eyes then opened them
Hoping its just a dream

For the rest of the night
I didn't want to blink
Then remembered before the image left
She never did say anything
Just an odd little wink.
