A Girl in the Mirror

There's a girl in the mirror,
And she stares back at me,
Yet I don't recognize her,
My face is not what I see

She looks pretty,
She looks happy,
So I figure,
That can't be me

She smiles that beautiful smile,
And she holds her head up high,
She doesn't look embarrassed,
Or the least bit shy

She looks like a perfect girl,
The kind that your jealous of,
The kind of girl you believe,
Was born with a true love

Then I realize, wait a minute,
This is not what I usually see,
But that girl standing in the mirror,
Really is me
