But still....I jumped

by Unafraid   Aug 4, 2006

My walls were caving in under the flood of love I felt for you, so I took them down brick by brick. But in fear of dieing I built a bridge of the only feeling that the water had not taken, and that was my hatred. This is where I now stand, on a bridge built of my hate over the waterfall that is my heart. If I let go of my hatred I'll drown, having nothing to hold onto, having no defenses. I knew my fate, but still....I jumped.
