Her Burning Heart

by Lynn   Aug 5, 2006

Hiding under the table
Crying her heart out
Creating another fable
Wondering what her life is about

Looking at his picture
She starts to frown
Wants to see him
But she cannot

Even though he's always been her friend
There is no pretend
She still wants him
And doesn't want their friendship to end

Feeling meaningless without him by her side
Lost and confused in her life
Watching him grow with serenity
Wishing him to best in eternity

But now she means nothing without him
She knows she's been smiling
And inside she's dying
Her burning heart has nothing left to do

But to pick up that blade
And cause herself more pain
Till one day she reaches the vein
And dies with tears dropping like rain.
