Hidden Tears

I used to think if i hide my tears
No one will see my fears
I was so wrong
If someone took a closer look
they'd read my face like an open book
I took a chance at love and lost
but only my tears did it cost
I felt hollow and used
my love is what you truly abused
you thought you were smooth and slick
you were really playing a hurtful trick
I have shared my fears
and now i will wear my hidden tears
