Heaven in Grandma's Arms

Heaven in Grandma's Arms

The first time I saw you, it took my breath away
It happened again when I first saw you play

Grasping my finger with a tiny hand
Welled up emotions I could hardly stand

Seeing you with your mama's face
Takes me back to another time and place

Nestled with grandma in a rocking chair
Humming softly and stroking your hair

Having a little midnight chat
It doesn't get any better then that

From the first you turned on your angelic charms
A little bit of Heaven in grandma's arms
