Dear Daddy

by Faye   Aug 8, 2006

You say you want to spend time with me,
but when you do, you just judge and criticize me.

You ask about all the scars and tattoos and I reply, "I don't know,"
but all og the meaningful scars do not show.

And about the whole black thing,
you'll never know until I sing.

I don't want to be another barbie in this stereotypical world.
The way I am lets my emotions be unfurled.

Your breaking my emotional strings,
making me feel like a million nothings.

My friends help me through it all.
They're who I'm with when you call.

I know I didn't call much,
but I was all nervous and such.

Don't get me wrong you were a cool guy,
but let me live my life until the day I die.
