A little girl of two

by Drew   Aug 8, 2006

I look out my window into a poverty stricken village. A little girl of two walks down the middle of the road with no shoes for her feet. A blank and lost stare as she wanders down the road. I can`t help but wonder where it is she`ll go. Her big brown eyes saddened with tears, but yet she has no fear. She boldly walks on as if to say this is where I will always stay locked in poverty with no shoes for my feet.
