I Would Love Too

by APoeticLetdown   Aug 8, 2006

Ask me the same questions.
I'll repeat what I said before.
Smile at me gently.
As you make your way to the door.
Tell me you don't feel bad for me.
Say it while looking in my eyes.
It's okay for you to be human.
You can take off that disguise.
You start walking towards me.
From you're eyes; a stream of blue.
You tell me I must move on.
I would love too.

Hey. Just so everyone knows. I'm well aware that the "too" at the end is the wrong one to make sense, people keep telling me that I should change it.

But I meant to do it. That way it's not only saying "I would love to move on" as it seems that it is, but it is also saying "I will love again" and that's where the trick is. It's just one hint of hope at the end of a sad poem.

Man I like that, I hope you all do too!
