Cutting

The blade that I once longed for
was right in from of my face
I again picked it up
an outline did I trace

an outline of my life
of all the things gone wrong
I put it to my ankle
and made a cut quite long

I felt the cold metal
But soon it did turn warm
All I seen was blood
Feeling nothing I moved to my arm

My pain and sorrow faded
as more blood began to show
it was so relaxing
when blood began to flow

worries washed away with blood
more with every cut
soon I felt faint
and a weird feeling in my gut

I think I've gone to far this time
myself I could not control
I could hear my heart pounding
I started to get cold

memories flashed before my eyes
for a moment i felt scared
none of this would have happened
if someone said they cared

    hey... i really loved your poem... i really think u should tell a friend of ur problem, because seriously people care about you, but not everyoen says it... but if u tell someone like a friend that u trust they will be supportive.. believe me hun iv been thru this and i had a friend help me out every day and every time i cut she used to tell me how much she cared and she would care if anything bad happened to me.... it was my survival! all of u in here who are cutters, you can make it i mean im still here and i cut 2 years ago and this year and iv stopped cuz of a great friend(s)... Awsum poem keep writing but also keep your faith!

    Hey,I under stand the pain i relize that cutting helps alot of ppl i would probably cut to because of the things an pain i go through and have gone through its just i'm not a strong enough person to start but most ppl get mad for those who cut with out doing it i guess alot could say i wouldn't under stand but i do under stand.Things in life hurt and i really get what you mean bout how it helps you not feel the pain because there are things in that ppl can do to get aride of the pain and hurt the one thing i can do i'm not allowed to do anymore...great poem really is strong..email me anytime....chevybaby5769@hotmail.com
