Daddys day

Fathers day, daddys day
So now the other kids cant play
Until its time I play alone
Before we go to your grave stone

I made a card and painted it blue
The front says I miss you
I lay it down and say a prayer
To show how much I love and care

Mummy explained you are up above
Looking down on us filled with love
You touch our hearts everyday
Because we will never forget your special ways

I blow a kiss up to the sky
And try my best not to cry
I hold mums hand and try to be brave
Because this is my Daddys special day

    Aw, wow. This nearly brought a tear to my eye.. I had only just gotten back tonight from my grandmothers funeral, so yeah. I can relate to this poem in a way. It was nicely done. Keep it up! 5/5
